Love Yer Brain

Technically, Wayne Coyne started selling weed to his friends in 1977. But, with the creation of The Flaming Lips in 1983, he made a lifelong commitment to pushing boundaries in music, art, and general strangeness taking their awe-inspiring psychedelic music about love, drugs, and death from city to city, festival to festival. At the heart of Wayne’s own life, though, is his art. “I think I’m probably a painter at heart and maybe I’m just using music to paint with as well.” And that is how Love Yer Brain was born. A unity of art and weirdness and cannabis.
